There are some things that make traveling a bit more convenient. Check out my travel essentials here!

Google Fi has been a lifesaver for me during my travels. Sometimes I use a lot of data. Sometimes I don’t. Whatever I don’t use, I’m reimbursed by the end of the month. Free international texting from my US number. Great data connection everywhere I go – even in the middle of Nepal. If I want to use a local simcard, I can pause my phone plan at no charge. Be sure you’ve got a reliable phone plan before you hop on another plane. I recommend swapping to Google Fi. Check it out here.

There are some things we just can’t travel – or live – without. That’s coffee. Sometimes coffee just isn’t in the vicinity.  After meeting tons of travelers on the road who recommended this, I decided to finally bite the bullet and do it. I have no regrets. I can make myself an amazing cup of coffee easily, without the need to scoop out coffee grounds. And it’s travel friendly. Light, made of plastic – no need to worry about breaking it when hopping from place to place. Order one before your next trip here!

Traveling isn’t easy on the body. You’re out of your normal rhythm. You’re eating weird things. You’re sitting for extended periods of time, your normal exercise plan goes out of whack. That’s why it’s important to have something consistent. Traveling with a yoga mat is a pain. Until I started traveling with my YOGO mat. It’s super light, easy to carry around, and fits perfectly into my backpack. It’s also easy to wash and dry and it’s made of plant-based rubber. It’s a bit cheaper on Amazon than the website, so check it out here.
